The triangle has been used as a symbol of spiritualism and enlightenment since the dawn of human civilization. It is a dynamic force of creation β Creative Spirit. An active creative principle of consciousness β sometimes referred to as the Fire of Consciousness.
Lately Iβve been having visions of triangles, seeing them everywhere and constantly reminded of their simplicity and strength. Maybe itβs because Iβve been playing Tears of the Kingdom and seeing the tri-force often (IYKYK)β¦but anyway, here are the triangles of my visions.
π»A downwards pointing triangle is associated with the focus on the physical realm and engagement in active manifestation. This is the heart of my triangle, Resistance, itβs what we are actively doing now. The symbols that make up the design include an Austronesian spearhead pattern (for warriors), the Kalingan βTaoβ pattern (for community/ancestors), and my own version of the Palestinian fishnet pattern of the kufiyah (mine is made of stars at the intersections), for resilience and light when there is darkness.
πΊAn upwards pointing triangle conveys the sense of a strong foundation, stability and symbolises ascension towards the worlds of creative fire. This is what we are working towards – Justice, Peace and Liberation.
Justice, symbolized by poppies, to remind us of the bitter bloodshed during war.
Peace, symbolized by olive branches.
Liberation, symbolized by the freedom of swallows in flight.
