So, my kids did this thing where they memorized my mobile number & gave it out to their friends, which I only found out about once I started receiving calls from 9 year olds asking if they could come over and play. Sometimes they would skip the phone call all together, and just show up at my doorstep.
To put a stop to this madness of surprise playdates and random phone calls, I sat my kids down and explained that playdates had to be arranged by parents, not by children. I also made them these handy playdate invitation cards to hand out to their friends. Since I’m a firm believer in the “Sharing is Caring” philosophy, I’ve made printable versions of these cards for everyone to enjoy! They’re available for download, at the end of this post.
