Umm…I’m knitting. Should I be concerned? Is there an age limit to when you’re old enough to start knitting? I heard a rumor that knitting is the new “in” thing…or am I just trying to rationalize what is otherwise abnormal behavior for a woman in her mid-twenties?

In my defense, a girlfriend of mine who is also twenty-something, is the one who taught me how to knit in the first place…so if I’m “abnormal” than I’m dragging her into abnormalcy right along with me! We do live in Victoria after all…island of the newly wed or nearly dead – as they say. There’s not much else to do here!

It’s quite a relaxing pastime though…perfect for those long ferry rides or while watching tv.
